So, I had a great weekend.  I had some time to flex at work so Kev and I headed up to the art fair Friday afternoon.  We walked around for a a while then stopped for a snow cone break (lime of course) and then walked around some more.  I didn't buy much just a couple bracelets for cheap and a couple of yard art type things to put in the garden (a dragonfly and a fairy).  Then we went to Good Time Charley's for an early dinner (it's tradition) and had some awesome burgers and some huge long islands that were served in a pitcher!  After that, went home and crashed for a couple of hours.

Saturday my aunt visited in the morning and then we hit the grocery store and video store.  We went to a wedding in the evening.  It was an outdoor wedding so I was a bit worried as it rained all day but it cleared up just enough to get through the ceremony (albeit a bit of a shortened version).  We ate, drank and partied our butts off until they made us leave at 12:30am.  We even danced which is pretty good for Kevin (do you how hard it is and how many gin and tonics it takes to get him to dance to "Gin and Juice" ?  Trust me it's an accomplishment, and yes I drove home)!

Sunday we were going to go see "The Dark Knight" but decided to forego the crowds and will probably go this Friday instead.  We played GH Aerosmith which we rented from the video store and I beat it on medium in about 2 hours (glad I didn't spend the money to buy it b/c it seems easier and doesn't have enough songs).  Best part was jammin out to "I Hate Myself for Loving You."  Who doesn't love Joan Jett?  Then we worked in the yard for a while and I got bitten by some evil mosquitoes (still itching today).  Had dinner and watched "The Other Boleyn Girl."  It was a disappoint.  The book was MUCH better.  And maybe I'm just used to the actors on "The Tudors" but they seem so much better to me for their roles than the ones that were in "The Other Boleyn Girl."  Plus they cut too much out in the movie.  Some of the costumes were pretty cool though (especially the green dress that Anne wore).

I want to go to this really really bad - it looks amazing!  I mentioned it to Kevin last night and the first thing he said was "will you make me dress up?"  Well, hello, of course!

Which Goddess lurks in your soul?

Which Goddess lurks in your soul?

You hold more power in your little finger than most do in their entire being! Hecate is perhaps the most selective of all deities who inhabit the souls of mortals. Being the goddess of the crossroads, Cosmic Knowledge, and of course witches and magic she can’t be bothered by residing in the souls of the mundane. She often chooses those who practice the craft of the old ways and those who harbor deep mystical secrets that must be kept close. Your soul is old, perhaps having been present at the birth of the cosmos in some form or another. Your ability to comprehend the necessity of death and it’s beauty have awakened a connection to the underworld, where Hecate has been known to reign and you relish this otherworldly bond. Darkness suits you well, as many of the best secrets of the cosmos can be found there.
